Omega
Omega was an intergalactic engineer who co-founded Time Lord society. He was the only person ever to live within the anti-matter universe but living there robbed him of his body and left only his conscious will intact.
He was one of the most significant figures in Gallifreyan history. According to Omega, his real name was Peylix but he took the name Omega after a teacher gave him the grade of Omega on an essay (it was the lowest mark possible).
Achievements
During the Dark Times, Omega worked with Rassilon and The Other to achieve time travel. Omega developed a means to create and harness the power of a Black hole. It was during the destruction of a local star and turning in supernova that Omega’s ship suffered sabotage and he and his crew were exposed to the fury of a black hole. This caused Omega’s “death” but also helped bring in the Time Lord’s era of time travel.
Omega also developed the stellar manipulator (the Hand of Omega) with which he accidentally punched a hole into another plane of existence. This unleashed the Great Vampires which started the Time Lord-Vampire War. This stellar manipular, when fully functional, could make stars go supernova.
Omega’s Return
Unbeknownst to the Time Lords, Omega actually was transported through the black hole into another universe made of anti-matter. He was able to shape the universe with his will and accessed the black hole’s singularity. He was able to create simple life but exposure to the radiation over periods of time destroyed his body.
After thousands of years of boredom and depression, Omega conceived a plan to get back at the Time Lords for abandoning him. This caused the Time Lords to break one of the laws of time to gather three different incarnations of the Doctor to help them.
At the end of the confrontation with the three Doctors, it was thought Omegas was finally dead but he would later come back with the help of the dimensional gateway known as the Arc of Infinity with a plan to take over the Doctor’s body so he could once again live in the regular universe.
Once again he was defeated but not before he had a sample of the Doctor’s biodata. He used this to create a new body for himself but it caused him to develop a split personality.
Personality
Omega was very bitter about the Time Lords because he believed they sacrificed him to attain greatness. Living in the anti-matter universe gave him an eternity to harbour those feelings which drove him insane. Despite this insanity, he was noted for his extremely strong will.
